I went East...not West...it is 10 minutes from my college!
A hidden gem in the Las Vegas valley. The service is phenomenal and the staff are very conversational, which I love. They talk to our family about our lives and theirs, and that combined with the old 20th century music makes it a cool place! (I LOVE it even more than our current music today :)) The bread and appetizers are mouthwatering. So is the chicken piccata (even though I'd get that without mushrooms next time, as I don't like mushrooms, but it was lovely otherwise!). The pesto fettuccine is my absolute favorite dish. Wonderful combination. And not to throw shade at anyone, but I think anyone who complains about the food taking a while (as long as it tasted good as a result) should appreciate that the cook put their time in to make it thoroughly, just like the doctor ordered, for everyone to enjoy! Because then it would be worth the wait :) I miss this place. I am waiting to come back :)
PS I don't get why some people prefer Olive Garden...I usually prefer restaurants that aren't chains, as the food is generally better ;) -

Maybe I ordered on the wrong night, or maybe I set my expectations too high, but it was a mildly disappointing take out dinner.
Ordered takeout dinner from Doordash for fettuccine Alfredo with white chicken, salad, and a slice of cheesecake. The food was ready promptly, within 20 minutes.
The pasta itself was fantastic, with a wonderful texture and flavor. The Alfredo sauce was creamy without being too rich, with a pleasing peppery zest.
But the chicken was wrapped in a weirdly gooey skin, dripping in coagulating grease. Though I used a mere half of the provided dressing, the salad was far too salty. The side garlic bread was a dry husk, with more of a metallic taste (maybe from the foil wrapping?) than garlic. And the cheesecake had the consistency of a paste, its flavor overwhelmed by a pungent drizzle of artificial strawberry (or cherry?) syrup.
To be clear, the entire meal was perfectly edible. But beyond the pasta itself, Pasta Mia takeout left much to be desired in every bite. -

thank you other yelpers for helping us found this place!!! Love the very intimate ambiance!!! food was amazing!! pasta was all home made.... i had one of the special linguine pescatore with white sauce, the wifey had lasagna... for appetizer we had fried calamari and stuffed artichoke... all items were amazeballs!!!
I gotta describe my dish to y'all since it was so good!! if y'all are familiar with pasta cucina's fruti de mar... this linguine pescatore is a few step above that dish i fore-mentioned. Huge piece of scallop, 2 big piece of shrimp, tons of clams and mussels... on a bed of homemade linguine with a white wine garlic seafood sauce! Check out the photos!! -

Chef Armando did Las Vegas right by opening an East side location! Our family has been frequenting Pasta Mia for years! Some of you might remember a location on East Flamingo and then the well known West Flamingo hot spot.
This location does not disappoint. The same solid food options and fresh hot garlic bread!
Popped in today for Mother's Day lunch and were quickly seated. They served from the lunch menu so pricing was much more reasonable. Before ordering they filled up our water glasses and dropped off a piping hot loaf of garlic bread. We always ask for a small bowl of the salad dressing to dip our bread in which makes it a 5/5. We ordered the chicken parmigiana with a side of angel hair 5/5, very saucy and tender chicken, sorry no leftovers here! The chicken comes with a soup or salad, we opted for the salad which comes with plenty of tomatoes and that great dressing. We also got the penne puttanesca served with tomatoes, capers, black olives, garlic and oregano 4/5, and lastly mum always orders the angel hair pasta with tomato and basil sauce 5/5, she loves it and always takes half to go as it is a large portion.
Tip: if your in the casino industry show your badge for 10% discount.
Tip2: order a small bowl of the salad dressing to dip your hot garlic bread in, so delicious!
Overall great Mother's Day lunch with the family. Past Mia East offered pleasant fast service and above average Italian food done right. We will be back for more! -

Went in with my man on a Monday night around 8. It wasn't packed but not creepily empty either, so our service was incredible. We were sat immediately and waited on for our water and drinks. Our server George was awesome and super timely. We ordered the calamari and tortellini Alfredo and shrimp linguini with mushrooms. The dishes came with soup or salad so we each ordered one. The homemade dressing was literally to die for. I'd come back just for the salads here. Legit... so good & huge portions!! I also had an amazing couple glasses of Pinot noir recommended by George. All in all the home made sauces & dressings stole the show but the whole meal was beyond great and I can't wait to go back and eat more at this place!
